Request data deletion
Studio Genie develops and operates StarFight. You can request deletion of an anonymous ranking profile without signing in or reinstalling the app.
What can be deleted
The profile ID, credential hash, display name, country code, RP, rank snapshots, wins/losses and other match statistics, ranking awards, and ranked match records involving that profile are removed from the StarFight game database when a valid deletion code is redeemed. Public leaderboard entries for that profile then disappear.
Verify your profile and request deletion
- On the browser or app where you used the ranking, open My Rank → Data deletion verification code. You can also use the button below if this browser has your ranking cookie. The one-time code is linked to your anonymous profile through its private credential, not a display name.
- Email the code to kangpangkim@gmail.com with the subject “StarFight data deletion request”. Do not send your ranking cookie or password.
- Studio Genie can enter the code in the form below to perform deletion. You may also redeem it yourself immediately. A code expires after 7 days; requesting another invalidates the previous code.
If you no longer have access to the original app/browser or a valid code, email us with your profile display name and any other details you can provide. A public name alone does not prove ownership, so we will explain what further verification is possible before deleting data.
Using an older Android app?
If your app does not show a deletion-code button but still lets you edit your Player ID, you can prove control without sharing its private cookie. Enter your exact current Player ID below, get a random challenge, then change your Player ID in the app to that exact challenge. Return here and redeem it within 24 hours. You may also email the challenge to Studio Genie after completing the name change.
What remains
Other players’ aggregate RP and match statistics are not recalculated. Local settings and CPU records on your device remain until you clear app/browser data or uninstall. Independent private-duel rooms are configured to expire after 30 minutes of inactivity and are purged during later room creation. A ranking cookie may remain on your device for up to one year, but it no longer identifies a profile after deletion. Google advertising/consent data and hosting request logs are held by their respective providers and are not deleted through this ranking form. The hosting provider’s log-retention period and retention period for other players’ aggregate ranking data have not been confirmed; we do not state a duration for them.
